Has Hawaii Governor Gone Too Far?
Three Major Changes Made By Governor Green:
1. ALL KEIKI VAXED
During the last legislative session, HawaiÊ»i’s Governor supported HB1118 / SB1437, a bill that would have required all children in HawaiÊ»i to be fully vaccinated in order to attend any school—public, private, or homeschool—by eliminating religious exemptions.
The bill timed out and didn't move forward. It was a clear warning that parental rights and medical choice are under threat.

2. TAKING YOUR LAND
House Bill 427 / Act 236 grants the HawaiÊ»i government sweeping authority during a declared “biosecurity emergency,” including the power to take control of private land, livestock, or goods.
Under this law, property may be seized without a warrant, court order, or prior hearing. See the law click here (Go to PART III on page 28, (d))

3. STATE OF EMERGENCIES
The Governor has issued over 90 emergency proclamations, suspending numerous state laws without legislative approval. Many of these declarations are based on administrative or ongoing issues—not immediate emergencies—and they set a dangerous precedent, allowing future governors to bypass the Legislature and concentrate power in the executive branch with little oversight.
